This week in 2T, we looked at the work of artist Sara Fanelli. She has made some really interesting work about different kinds of maps, like this one below which is a map of a day.
We talked about the way she divided parts of the day into different stripes and the children thought about how they might divide up their day.
The children made some stripe paintings and spent a lot of time mixing up colour carefully and thinking about where to put it...
I like the subtle colours in this painting.
And this one has wonderfully rich colour..
