Sadly, this was class 2T's last session, but we had a really great morning and the students made some absolutely amazing work!
Remember the stripey paintings from last week...?
They were really beautiful as abstract paintings, but they were intended to be made into maps, with each stripe dividing different parts of the day. So, as you can see, we added symbols and drawings to represent diferent elements of the day and I think they are fabulous!

2T's Map of Found Things

For the main part of the morning we were busy making charcoal rubbings from as many different surfaces and textures that we could find in the playground.
Sorry for any really grubby children at the end of the day! Despite being cold, it was hugely fun and as you can see really successful. They made some exquisite images from so many different bits of the building, the walls, fences, drain covers...and we collaged them together to make the surface for our map of found things. Well done 2T!
